In a classified information obtained by LibertyTimesUk, an online media outfit has it that Nigeria's Secret Police Service insider who on condition of anonymity and out of sympathy confided that Mr Kanu had been passing through serious health issues, complains of chest pains. The insider also revealed that Kanu had Emaciated that an order was given not to bring Kanu to Court in such condition to avoid Civil unrest.

Recall that Mr Kanu was arrested at Kenya, detained by Kenyan Secret Police for days and later extradited to Nigeria. DSS failed to produce Kanu on a court Case slatted on 26th of July. The Court trials was adjourned till October 21st.
