Obiora Igwe or Obi Igwe (1956 - 1996) was a Nigerian multitalented Singer, Songwriter, Composer, Activist, and Entrepreneur. He hailed from Umunya in Anambra State but spent significant part of his life in Okwandu Street, off Faulks Road, Aba, Abia State. 

Late Obigwe was married with children, he was a passionate entrepreneur and musician who was among Nigerian finest Singers who revolutionalized Gospel music in Nigeria alongside Ifeanyi Ibeabuchi, Pastor Onyemaechi Ekwerekwu CEO of Clims Nigeria LTD, One Man Thousand, Patty Obasi, Luke Ezeji, Chika Okpala, Uyo Ibem, Voice Of The Cross, Oguejiefor Okolie the talented trumpeter, etc

Obigwe instrumentalized his studio projects to challenge bad governance in Nigeria. He left a legacy of speaking the truth even in the face of tyrannical military regime in the 80s.

He died in fatal auto crash while coming to Aba from Onitsha in June 1996, it was a sad day in sphere of Gospel music in Nigeria. His number one back up singer - Sis Ijeoma also contributed her quota in Gospel music industry in Nigeria.
