He is popularly by his professional stage name as Okey Jakota. According to his Biography he had been in music industry since early 1990s and became popular upon the release of Ogechi Di Nma 1997.

However, he had been on a low key until popular philanthropist Okwuluora alongside Anyidons rejuvenated his image in music industry.
