Background:
Nigeria has produced uncommon talents and gifted people. In music industry, Nigeria is number one in Africa and beyond. The conventional music style evolved from pioneers and Freewindz Music Group is among those whose musical products made waves over decades ago.

                         Freewindz

Career: 
The music group began as five members namely: Sir K, Kendo, Prince, ADV and Double D. Along the line, ADV left the group to join banking sector (First Bank in Lagos) and Double D left the country to United States, having only 3 members left to continue.

                      5-man Freewindz

Their songs "That's The Way", "That Girl" and "Tolo Tolo featuring Terry G" projected the music group to limelight having their songs played repeatedly in Radio stations. Clearance Peters produced the video of "That's The Way" and also the video earned the music group Nigeria Music Video Awards (NMVA) 2009. In same progressive development, Star Mega Jam Musical Concert lineup which was sponsored by Nigerian Breweries PLC had Freewindz share stage with international artistes - Kevin Lyttle, Ja Rule, others.

In 2010, they collaborated with Ivorian Sokous legendary artiste - Awilo Longomba to actualize the studio project "Dance Galore". In 2011, they were among the lineup stars for the year's edition of 'Star Trek' along with MI, P square, Timaya, Naeto C, D'banj, Wande Coal, Duncan Mighty, Ruggedman, etc. Freewindz soared higher just like an eagle but sadly declined late 2010.

Same period, terry G's maddening style of music wanted to produce musical beat "Free Madness" for Freewindz but ended up using the beat for self. Terry G said in the song that "People wey get this beat oh, Omo dem dey for outside oh, me, I'm dropping freestyle oh" and went on to say "I no be Mallam Spicey, I no dey stop for the fourth bar, Over". The lyrics caused serious rift between him and Mallam Spicey.

The remaining three were actually brothers: Prince Osinachi Amako (a.k.a Prince), Kingsley Amako (a.k.a Sir K) and Chike Amako (a.k.a Kendo).

Journey in Myke Records Record Label:
The music group began their music journey in Myke Records where they recorded "Who be that girl", "Ifeoma", and "Tolotolo" singles. 

                         Freewindz

The music group sold the Album "The Return Of Freewindz" to Anasonic (A Marketer), but then still work with Obaino, Ahbu Ventures. However, Evang. Mike Ikoku owns Myke Records. Freewindz pointed out how academically unqualified staff management ruined Myke Records. Mike was then the chairman for tourism in Imo State and his recommendations made Imo State Government to confer them with Ambassadors of Imo State.

Mike also sponsor Freewindz luxurious lifestyles especially in hospitalities - eating at Mama Cass, Mr Biggs, Tetrazzini; their one year stay at All Seasons Hotel in Imo State; bought cars for Freewindz - Chrysler and Lexus Jeep as official cars. After they left Myke Records, things became so tough but they scaled through with the fame earned from "That's The Way" and toured many places - MTN bill, Glo, performing at wedding ceremonies and others. They later relocated from Owerri to Surulele alongside with their parents and siblings.

              Prince Osinachi Amako 

Prince in Politics: 
Prince Osinachi Amako (a.k.a Oga No Vex), the eldest joined politics 2018 and contested for Owerri West rep Imo State House of Assembly under the platform of APGA.
