She hails from Umuchu in Aguata LGA Anambra state, popular for her hit wayback "Love Nwantiti". Nelly Uchendu passed year 2005 and her efforts in music industry has inscribed her name in the sands of time.
"Kpokube Olisa," which means ("Call on the Lord"). Nelly Uchendu laments that today people can't even trust their own relatives: ". . . The world has changed. The world has gotten bad. Call on the Lord so we can survive".
