The Anambra State Government has begged commercial transporters to resume operation in the state on Mondays. The government begged transporters and traders to resume Monday activities citing the negative impact on economy of the state.

Throwback Times Nigeria learnt that statement was contained in a recent appeal, the state government urged transport operators to resume full operations on Mondays, emphasizing the need to restore economic activities and ensure freedom of movement across the state.

Authorities stated that continued adherence to the sit-at-home order undermines public safety, disrupts businesses, and affects the livelihoods of residents. Transporters have been encouraged to return to work without fear, as the government reassured them of adequate security measures.
