According to information made available to ThrowbackTimes Nigeria that Federal Government of Nigeria has finally bows to Nigerians demand to scrap the notorious police unit.
This is contained in a live video on Facebook made by Nigeria’s Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, as he announced the disbanding of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad after days of protest against police brutality by the unit.
ThrowbackTimes Nigeria have also learnt that IGP said that new Anti-Robbery unit shall be established to substitute the FSARS. Meanwhile, Nigerians rejected the idea to form new unit; says "it is the same team with a different appellation".
