In this sequel of development, there have been numerous records of Nigerian Army involvement in Extra Judicial killings most particularly of the recent killings at Imo State while targeting members of the seperatists group, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in the state and entire South Eastern Part of Nigeria.

Recall that South Eastern Part of Nigeria have been agitating for an independent state over constant marginalization by the central Nigerian Government. Also Biafra and Nigerian Government have fought a disastrous war which lasted for three years (from 1967 to 1970) which left over 3 million Biafrans dead over the same course.
