It's been a year since the passing of Mrs. Joy Muoka, the wife of Lazarus Muoka, founder and director of the Lord's Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries. According to an insider who spoke to Throwback Times Nigeria on condition of anonymity, the family is now preparing for her funeral ceremony, which will take place on September 12th and 13th.
The ceremony is expected to be a low-key affair, with only close family and friends in attendance. Late Mrs. Joy Muoka hailed from Okpuno-Umuota Obosi in Anambra State and was a devoted wife and partner to Pastor Muoka.
Her passing on July 8th, 2023, came as a shock to the church community and beyond. It was gathered that she had attended a vigil at the church after returning from an evangelistic outreach in Ebonyi State, where her husband had preached to a large crowd. Tragically, she passed away the following day.
