According to reports made available to Throwback Times Nigeria, the Nigerian professional wrestling Federation has been thrown into mourning following the untimely demise of a young pro wrestler Philip Tiger. The deceased, aged 28, who hailed from Nsukka in Enugu State started to experience large nasal malignant carcinoma and was booked for a surgery but already the metastasized tumor has done a great damage on the face of the deceased.
According to a member of the family, the wrestler died early hours on 24th October 2026 at National hospital Abuja. The wrestler has handful records of fights at Rogeny Hotel Oba 2018, Neni 2019, Onu Ndi Aguata at Aguluezechukwu 2024 and 2025, at Neni 2025 with only one winning record.
The preparation for the burial and funeral is yet to be communicated as the family, well wishers, bouncers, and wrestling communities are still mourning the deceased.
